Scottie Jacobs - singer

As the lead singer in the group WaiTinG, Scottie would prefer to be known as the lead worshipper. His desire is to lead God’s people in worshipping Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23). Scottie does just that by modeling true worship that includes honesty, a little humor, humility and the truth of who God is. Scottie is no stranger to Christian music; his grandfather was a pastor for over sixty years, his father led a local church choir for twenty-seven years and he has numerous relatives participating in worship services all over the state of South Carolina. Raised in the Pontiac/Columbia Northeast area, Scottie makes his home with his wife and two boys in Elgin, SC. Every third day he becomes a firefighter with the Columbia Fire Department. On his days off, he works as a carpenter/craftsman. For enjoyment, he has been known to play a little golf.
