Soupy Jacobs - keyboard and backup vocals

Soupy Jacobs plays keyboard and backs up husband Scottie on vocals for the group WaiTinG. She prefers to blend in in order to draw attention to the words that glorify God. Her hope is always to offer encouragement no matter what the circumstances may be. She relies on 2 Corinthians 1:3 and 4 for that - “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” She has provided compassion and comfort to many individuals and couples with the gift and education as a licensed Christian Counselor. Soupy (her nickname; her maiden name is Campbell) has been married to Scottie since 1990 and they have two boys, Campbell and Caleb. She is a stay at home wife and mom and she and Scottie homeschool their boys. She enjoys being home with her children during this “season” in their lives.
